Nutrition and Productivity
That fast-food burger or giant order of fries
does more than make you sluggish after lunch.
It's probably making you and your company
less productive!
Come hear more about Nutrition and Productivity
at our February Luncheon at The Marriott West.
Our speaker is Tina Bowen.
Tina Bowen is currently the registered dietitian for the O’Fallon Family YMCA. She counsels clients as well as works with weight loss groups. She has a Masters in Nutrition from Northern Illinois University and a B.S. in Biology from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point. Before becoming a dietitian, Tina worked in other fields related to nutrition as a quality control technician for a vegetable canning company and a chemist that analyzed foods for nutritional content for food labeling. She also has experience as a clinical dietitian at Kishwakee Community Hospital in DeKalb, IL and in worksite wellness.

TCF Chamber Helping Local Charities
The TCF Chamber is pledging to give back to our community! For each month of 2010, we will have a local charity on which to focus our help. Thanks to all of you who brought coats and jackets to our January luncheon. Many folks are now warmer through our recent cold weather due to your generosity.
This month’s charity is the Assistance League of St. Louis (www.stlouis.assistanceleague.org). They are a nonprofit volunteer service organization that puts caring and commitment into action through community-based philanthropic programs. It is an all-volunteer organization with no paid staff whose approximately 280 members identify, develop, implement and fund ongoing community programs to serve specific needs of children and adults in the St. Louis community. To assist their program, please bring any of the following to the February luncheon.
¨ Unopened Toiletries and Cosmetics
¨ Unopened Toothbrushes and Toothpaste
¨ Gently-used Clothing and Household Items
